AmeriCorps in Nebraska

"I am confident that I made an impact on hundreds of children. A number of young boys hated reading when we first started - they would cry and throw a fit, refusing to read. At the end of the program, they were crying and throwing a fit when we were finished reading for the day, begging for more."     ~ Katie Lamie, 2006-2007 Star City Treasures AmeriCorps Member
