Nebraska National Preparedness Month Activities
ServeNebraska staff and volunteers will be distributing informational material regarding individual and community preparedness prior the following athletic contests:
September 12: University of Nebraska Volleyball vs. LSU at the Devaney Center.
September 13: University of Nebraska Football game, against New Mexico State, at Memorial Stadium. A full-page add in the game program will also promote preparedness.
Lt. Governor Rick Sheehy and his staff will be conducting a series of media interviews across the state, supporting and promoting National Preparedness Month activities. He will also be featured on the football pre-game show on September 13 and may do a live spot during the volleyball game on Friday the 12th.
The Lt. Governor will also be presenting seven BE PREPARED awards. Look HERE to learn more about the winners of these Awards.
